Stress Solutions for Challenging Times
Stress is a part of modern life, or so it seems. The demands of work, finances, and the responsibilities of home life can sometimes pull us out of our center. Events beyond our own lives, such as national and international events, affect us all and sometimes become a source of worry and even fear.
Increasingly, modern health care professionals are recommending stress reduction and meditation classes for their patients suffering from the physical results of stress, such as high blood pressure, sleep deprivation, heart disease, and many other ailments. Workplace managers and hospitals are increasingly offering seminars at their facilities to help employees and patients deal with stress effectively, both preventively and for those times when they find themselves stressed-out.
Learning to break through stress is critical to our physical and emotional well-being. This means knowing techniques to prevent stress, as well as having strategies to relax and "de-stress" when we are out of balance.
I have been sharing my stress solutions at community colleges, corporations and churches since 1996.
